In May, the total export of goods amounted to EUR 3 910,1 million, there was a 29,7 % year-on-year increase. The total import of goods increased by 33 % to EUR 3 826,7 million. The foreign trade balance was in surplus of EUR 83,4 million (by EUR 53,6 million lower than in May 2009).

In April, the total export of goods increased by 15,4 % to EUR 3 836,9 million and the total import grew by 20,5 % to EUR 3 617,2 million, compared with April 2009.
The foreign trade balance was in surplus of EUR 219,7 million (by EUR 101,8 million lower than in April last year).

In March, the total export of goods increased by 21,7 % to EUR 4 069,7 million and the total import grew by 16,7 % to EUR 3 872,6 million, compared with the corresponding period last year. The foreign trade balance was in surplus of EUR 197,2 million.
