Election Statistics

In line with the Act on state statistics No. 540/2001 (Coll.), Article 9, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic ensures organizational, personal, programme and technical conditions for processing of results of elections and referenda realised by special laws.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic the SOSR issues methodology instruction for processing of results of elections and referenda. It carries out processing of election results and prepares a record for the Central Election Commission and the Central Commission for Referendum. It publishes election results in printed form and via its web-page.
