Statistics Relating to Many Areas includes Enviromental and Water management statistics, Science and Technology and Information Society.

Basic areas which Environmental statistics deals with are air protection, water protection, nature and biodiversity protection, environmental protection for health and quality of life, waste management and economic tools in environmental protection. Water management statistics deals with production and distribution of fresh water, valume and quality of waste water (treated and untreated), quality of surface water in water courses and water quality in lakes and water reservoirs.

Statistics Science and Technology includes Statistics on Research and Development and Innovation statistics. Statistics on Research and Development monitors number and structure of research and development personnel by qualification, occupation and sex according their state at the end of the year as well as in recalculation in full time equivalent (FTE). Research and development (R&D) expenditures are surveyed in structure of capital and current expenditures, by sources of funds, socio-economic objectives and by R&D activities (basic research, applied research, development). Innovation statistics monitors innovation activities of enterprises that comprise product innovations, process innovations and on-going or abandoned innovation activities.

Statistics about Information Society monitors development of Information and Communications Technologies on society and business processes and - is a basise for the decision  making process in the area of ensuring further continuous development and improvement of information society.
