In January, the economic sentiment indicator has continued to increase; compared with December its value has grown by 2,4 to 84,8 percentage points. The development of the indicator has been affected mostly by an increase in consumer confidence and in sector of services. Year-on-year, the economic sentiment indicator has increased by 5,5 points and has decreased by 13,6 percentage points compared with the long-term average.
