Within the revision of annual national accounts in the time series of 1995 - 2006 that was finalised on 31 August 2008, the Statistical Office carried out some adjustments as for implementation of new methods according to EU regulations and Eurostat recommendations and also new and adjusted data sources were used.

These adjustments related to a change of classification of television license fees from "fee for service" to "tax". Based on this decision and in accordance with the principles of the ESA95 methodology, institutional units as the Slovak Radio and the Slovak Television were re-classified from the institutional sector of non-financial corporations (S.11) to the sector of general government (S.13), concretely to the sub-sector of central government (S.1311) for purposes of compilation of national accounts. This change was carried out on the base of Eurostat recommendation in time series of 1995 - 2007 for indicators of national accounts at current and constant prices.

Other changes resulted from inclusion of adjusted or new information used for compilation of individual items of NA.
